Custom Los Angeles Wedding Invitations

Long reception tables with burgundy florals under tall trees at a Los Angeles estate wedding

I design and letterpress custom Los Angeles wedding invitations for couples who want the mail to be the first fun part of their wedding. Every suite is printed on my 1905 Chandler & Price press with ink I mix by hand, then shipped to you or straight to your guests.

I am not in LA. I’m in a small town in Kansas with a very heavy machine. It works out.

Your LA guests have seen a lot of weddings. A flat card with a script font is not making it onto anyone’s fridge. Something with deep letterpress, loud color, and a little attitude will.

A Real LA Wedding: Cesie & Avery at Paramour Estate

Cesie and Avery met on Bumble in Manhattan and had their first date at the Holiday Cocktail Lounge, a dive bar in the East Village. A few years and one coast later, they got married at Paramour Estate.

Their brief was old Hollywood, seductive, and moody. The palette was cabernet red, soft pink, black, and green, with navy and yellow thrown in so nobody got too comfortable. The guest envelopes had a line art Hollywood skyline, sign and all, so the wedding started before anyone broke the seal.

They found me through The Bravo Docket, the podcast Cesie co-hosts. Proof that listening to podcasts is productive.

Why I Like Designing for LA Weddings

LA couples usually show up with a point of view. Old Hollywood. Seventies canyon. A disco in a parking garage. I love that, because my whole thing is cheeky wedding details for unserious couples, and Los Angeles has plenty of them.

My job is to take your vibe and make it something your guests can actually hold. That usually means letterpress or sculpted emboss, a color palette that isn’t beige, and one or two details that make people text you about the envelope.

Reflecting pool and Mediterranean villa at Paramour Estate in Silver Lake

PARAMOUR ESTATE

Silver Lake, Los Angeles, CA

A 1920s hillside mansion with gardens, city views, and more staircases than you will ever need. It begs for a dramatic suite: dark inks, heavy paper, something a silent film star would mail.

Ferris wheel and long dinner tables on the lawn at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu

CALAMIGOS RANCH

Malibu, CA

A ranch in the Malibu hills with oak trees, big lawns, and a very relaxed California mood. Let the venue be the laid back part and let your invitations be the dressed up part: bright color, deep letterpress, and a suite that looks like it belongs at a garden party with a dress code.

Long wooden tables under skylights at Millwick, an Arts District LA wedding venue

MILLWICK

Arts District, Los Angeles, CA

A warehouse in the Arts District with brick, steel, skylights, and a lot of plants. Great for couples who want industrial without it feeling cold. Pair it with bright color and sharp, graphic layouts so the paper keeps up with the room.

Planning Tips for Your LA Wedding Invitations

Start early. Book your stationer 6+ months out. Once the proof is approved, printing takes 3 to 6 weeks, and letterpress doesn’t rush for anyone.

Assume people are flying in. LA weddings pull guests from everywhere, so a weekend schedule or hotel card in the suite saves you from answering the same group text 40 times.

Big suites need boxes. If you have wax seals, ribbon, or five enclosures, a regular envelope won’t survive the trip. Boxed invitations will.

Don’t forget day-of. Menus, escort cards, and signage are where your wedding’s personality shows up in the photos. Plan them with the invitations so everything matches.

Los Angeles Wedding Invitation FAQ

Do I need to live in LA to work with you? No. Neither do I. Everything happens over video calls, email, and very well-packed boxes.

Can you mail the invitations to our guests? Yes. We can address, assemble, and mail them with tracked shipping so you can stop refreshing the USPS app.

What does it cost? Most couples spend $5,000 to $7,000 on their invitation suite. Save the dates and day-of paper are separate.
