Elegant Stationery for a Kansas City Styled Wedding Shoot
This past March, I had the pleasure of contributing to a beautifully orchestrated styled wedding shoot at the historic Longview Mansion in Kansas City. The event showcased two distinct wedding themes: a vibrant, colorful celebration and a refined South Asian ceremony.
Designing for Diverse Wedding Aesthetics
For the colorful celebration, I crafted an invitation suite that mirrored the joyful and lively atmosphere of the setting. The design featured bold hues and playful typography, aiming to capture the essence of a festive and modern wedding.
In contrast, the South Asian ceremony called for a more intricate and traditional approach. I designed stationery that incorporated rich textures and ornate patterns, paying homage to the cultural heritage and elegance of South Asian weddings.
Collaborating with Talented Vendors
The success of this styled shoot was made possible through collaboration with an incredible team of vendors. The event was organized by The Perfect Touch, with floral arrangements by Floriography, and photography by Mariam Saifan. Each vendor brought their unique expertise to the table, creating a cohesive and inspiring wedding scene.
Reflecting on the Experience
Participating in this styled shoot was an enriching experience that allowed me to explore diverse design elements and cultural motifs in wedding stationery. It was a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with fellow creatives and contribute to a project that celebrates love in its many forms.
I’m grateful to have been part of this inspiring event and look forward to future collaborations that allow for creative expression and cultural appreciation through stationery design.
