Halle & Dillon’s Mar-a-Lago Wedding Stationery
A Mar-a-Lago wedding in Palm Beach, Florida calls for details that feel iconic, layered, and unmistakably Palm Beach. When Halle and Dillon began planning their celebration, they knew exactly what they wanted the design to feel like - whimsical, texture-heavy, and grounded in a soft sage green palette. As their stationer, I loved bringing that vision to life through custom pieces that highlighted the charm and history of their venue while creating an experience guests would remember from the moment they arrived.
From the very beginning, the couple wanted to celebrate the landmarks and architecture that make Palm Beach so recognizable. Naturally, Mar-a-Lago Club became the visual anchor of the entire stationery concept. The property itself is so ornate and dramatic that it felt like the perfect inspiration point. Palm Beach latticework quickly emerged as the design direction that would tie everything together. That pattern set the tone for the invitation suite and carried through to the wedding day details.
Custom Crest Design Inspired by Mar-A-Lago
One of the most exciting elements of this project was recreating the Mar A Lago crest and designing a completely custom version for Halle and Dillon. Instead of using existing artwork, we illustrated a new crest specifically for their wedding. It became the signature mark of the entire stationery collection.
The crest appeared throughout the suite and eventually became the focal point of the escort card display. Every guest’s name was printed directly onto the custom crest artwork, transforming what could have been a simple seating card into a keepsake piece of art.
A Sculpted Emboss Escort Card Wall
For the wedding day installation, we designed something truly dramatic. Each escort card was die cut into the crest shape, sculpted embossed for dimensional texture, and finished with a delicate bow. These individual pieces were then hung across an entire lattice wall display so guests could find their names as they entered the reception.
The sculpted embossing gave every crest incredible depth and shadow, creating a tactile finish that immediately felt luxurious. In total, more than 500 sculpted emboss pieces were produced for this celebration. It was a massive undertaking, but the final display was absolutely worth it.
Seeing the full lattice wall covered in custom crests was one of those moments where stationery truly becomes part of the event design. Guests didn’t just pick up a card - they interacted with the installation.
Palm Beach Details From Start to Finish
Halle and Dillon also hosted their welcome party at Trump International Golf Club, giving guests a full Palm Beach experience throughout the weekend. The stationery for the celebration reflected that same relaxed elegance the area is known for. Soft sage tones, layered texture, and architectural details tied the entire weekend together while still letting the venue shine.
Mar-a-Lago is already a showstopping setting, but thoughtful stationery design allows couples to personalize the space and make it truly their own. For Halle and Dillon, that meant weaving iconic Palm Beach elements into every piece while maintaining a whimsical, luxurious feel.
